Access Talent Group is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering and a passion for creating innovative and sustainable building designs.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and construction of various building projects, ensuring their structural integrity and safety. Key responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with architects and other engineers to design and develop structural systems for new building projects.
  • Conducting structural analysis and calculations to ensure that designs meet safety and building code requirements.
  • Preparing detailed construction drawings, specifications, and reports for building structures.
  • Reviewing and approving construction plans and providing on-site support during the construction phase.
  • Utilizing software and tools to model and simulate structural designs for performance evaluation.
  • Staying updated with the latest industry standards, codes, and regulations related to structural engineering.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and proven experience in structural design and analysis for building projects. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills are also essential for success in this role.

The estimated salary for this position is £32,500 per annum. The contract type is permanent, and the location is Birmingham.
