Sacco Mann is currently working with a highly regarded national firm seeking an Insurance Fraud Fee Earner to join their counter-fraud team in the UK.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will deal with litigated claims on a Delegated Authority basis on behalf of Insurer Clients, working closely with the Team Leader and Lead Lawyer.
The caseload will contain a variety of suspected fraudulent insurance claims, including bogus passenger, fraudulent exaggeration, induced accidents, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Run fraud cases from litigation through to resolution
- Set case strategy and ensure adherence to client guidelines
- Identify strategic litigation opportunities
- Liaise with relevant parties on the case
- Deal proactively with case investigations and strategy
- Experience in civil litigation claims handling or suitable qualification
- Experience of handling RTA pre-litigated and/or litigated case load
- Understanding of insurance litigation practice and processes
- Knowledge of the litigation process and relevant protocols
- Forensic and analytical approach to evidence
- High level of commercial awareness related to fixed fee work
