Key Responsibilities- Provide regular support and supervision to foster carers, assessing, monitoring, and identifying interventions required.
- Work collaboratively with the team to promote a high-quality therapeutic approach to care, ensuring the needs of children and young people are met.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with foster carers, families, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Scottish legislative and policy context.
- Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Degree in Social Work or relevant qualification.
- Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
- Proven experience working with children and families, family placement teams, or residential childcare settings.
- Good working knowledge of child protection procedures and legislation in Scotland.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work flexibly and independently.
- A protected caseload of no more than ten full-time fostering families.
- Hybrid working arrangements, with flexibility to work from home and in the office.
- Dedicated Learning and Development Team, providing therapeutic, trauma-informed training opportunities.
- Annual leave entitlement, including public holidays and flexible leave arrangements.
- Out-of-hours on-call support, with a set fee for call-outs and time off in lieu.
- Support with Continuous Professional Development, including CPL registration requirements.

We provide safe and loving home-based care for children and young people in Scotland who are not able to live with their own family.
