About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at Nexgen Group, a leading provider of professional Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance services. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of our client sites located in Northampton.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform lawn cutting and landscaping tasks to maintain the appearance of our client sites.
  • Conduct greenkeeping and greenkeeper tasks to ensure the health and safety of our clients' grounds.
  • Prune hedges and shrubs to maintain their shape and appearance.
  • Apply spraying treatments to control pests and diseases.

Requirements

  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Be IT literate and able to use tablet and smartphone apps.
  • Have good communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
  • Have previous experience working in a grounds environment.

Working Arrangements

This is a permanent position, and the successful candidate will be required to work on a regular basis at our client sites located in Northampton. The role will involve working outdoors in all weather conditions, and the successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment as necessary.
