Job Title: Care Training Officer

Join Transformation Unit as a Care Training Officer and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care through expert resuscitation training.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive resuscitation training program for multidisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to current evidence-based guidelines.
  • Assess clinical skills and provide targeted training and support to staff, promoting a culture of excellence in patient care.
  • Collaborate with the head of resuscitation services to design and deliver externally accredited resuscitation courses, enhancing the skills of healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the resuscitation training program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Promote attendance at mandatory resuscitation training, ensuring staff are equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Current RN, RODP, or Paramedic qualification.
  • Relevant postgraduate course in Critical Care, A&E, or a related field.
  • Experience in dealing with critically ill patients and cardiac arrest situations.
  • Proficiency in using IT databases and knowledge of governance issues relevant to resuscitation training.
  • Evidence of a structured approach to continuing professional development.
  • Awareness of legal aspects of resuscitation.
