Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Summary:

Diana B. Beauty, a leading manufacturer of high-quality beauty products, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and programming computer numerical control (CNC) machines to manufacture precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming and Operating CNC Machines: Write and edit programs for CNC machines, including 3, 4, and 5-axis machining centers with FANUC controls.
  • Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate CNC machines, including tooling, jigs, fixtures, material, speeds, and feeds.
  • Quality Control: Perform in-process inspection using measuring equipment to ensure high-quality parts and components.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in improving programming, tooling life, and scrap reduction.

Requirements:

  • Strong Background in CNC Programming: Experience with FANUC controls and conversational G Code language.
  • Manufacturing Skills: Ability to manufacture highly detailed components from a range of materials.
  • Materials Knowledge: Understanding of materials and modern cutting methods.
  • Design Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret customer designs and engineering drawings.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Hourly Rate: £18.50 per hour depending on experience.
  • Overtime Pay: Time & 1/3 for Weekday, Time & 1/2 Saturday.
  • Company Pension: Contribution to a company workplace pension.
  • Holiday Entitlement: 6 weeks holiday including bank holidays.
