Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the focal point for our customer care program, ensuring its successful application.
  • Assist the Contract Team(s) in developing and delivering new business proposals.
  • Enhance our existing contracts by selling added benefits to clients.
  • Analyze current contracts and assess their ongoing contribution to the profitable operation of the area/region.
  • Play an integral role in developing regional strategy.
  • Achieve a culture of right fix first time and self-delivery amongst the team.
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual service reports using data analysis to drive decision-making.
  • Support the Operations Director in developing and delivering regional business strategy.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor performance against output targets.
  • Manage out-of-hours emergencies on client sites.
  • Ensure site utilities are available to support client production requirements.
  • Support the delivery of all site services within budget.

People Supervision & Development

  • Foster a positive and friendly working atmosphere for all team members.
  • Manage operational staff on site(s).
  • Facilitate/mentor all employees in meeting their individual needs.
  • Facilitate/mentor all teams in meeting their team needs.
  • Provide first-line HR management on site(s).

Quality Management and Health & Safety

  • Ensure and promote safe working environments.
  • Maintain and further own knowledge relating to relevant statutory and local legislation.
  • Champion and ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with Health, Safety & Environmental regulations.

Other

  • Take a results-oriented approach to the role, ensuring results are analyzed and understood.
  • Support the growth of the business by up-selling and cross-selling to customers.
  • Support any customer initiatives that could lead to longer-term benefits.

Requirements

  • Experience of delivering Hard FM services to multi-site clients and contracts greater than £5M in value.
  • Experience of delivering Soft FM services, including cleaning and security.
  • Management of contract cost sheets and P&L.
  • Data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to adhere to strict deadlines.
  • A full, clean driving license.
  • IT literate, including knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • 5-10 years post-qualification engineering experience across different industrial sectors.
  • Degree/Diploma level qualification in an engineering discipline.
  • NEEBOSH General or equivalent.
  • Level 5 Management qualification.
