About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our Engineering Manufacture group at the National Physical Laboratory. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our research and development activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal customers and the design team to ensure successful delivery of projects and products.
  • Develop and apply leading-edge knowledge, techniques, and technology to assess manufacturing projects and produce manufacturing plans, cost estimates, budgets, and delivery schedules.
  • Work with manufacturing engineering technicians to ensure successful delivery of projects, products, and components to cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key sub-contract suppliers.
