Arborist Professional

As a skilled Tree Surgeon, you will be responsible for assessing tree health and identifying any diseases or infestations that require treatment.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team at SPR McGowan Tree Services. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of tree care and maintenance, with a passion for preserving the natural environment.

1. Conduct thorough assessments of tree health to identify any diseases or infestations that require treatment.
2. Perform efficient tree pruning and trimming to promote healthy growth and maintain safety.
3. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to carry out tree surgery tasks.
4. Dig around tree roots as necessary to facilitate maintenance or removal.
5. Maintain groundskeeping standards by ensuring work areas are clean and safe.
6. Build supports or structures as needed for young trees or during adverse weather conditions.
7. Irrigate trees and surrounding landscapes to promote optimal growth conditions.
8. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety regulations.

• Proficiency in landscape maintenance practices, including knowledge of various plant species.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of power tools and hand tools.
• Ability to dig effectively and safely in various soil conditions.
• Experience in groundskeeping, ensuring all areas are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing.
• Capability to build simple structures or supports for trees as required.
• A keen eye for detail in garden aesthetics, contributing positively to the overall landscape design.
