About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Years Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons Westchester House Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and inspire a team to deliver high-quality care and education
  2. Ensure the learning environment is engaging and stimulating for children
  3. Develop and implement rich learning opportunities and exceptional care to support children's development
  4. Build strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet individual children's needs
  5. Promote child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding
  6. Contribute to maintaining a positive, happy, and safe environment
Requirements
  1. Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  2. Previous experience working in an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader or similar
  3. Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  4. Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements
  5. Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
  6. Effective communication skills with children and adults
