Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at GLG Vets in Loughton, Essex. As part of our vibrant veterinary practice, you will provide exceptional care to animals while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals. You will conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries. You will also collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a veterinary degree from a recognized institution and a valid veterinary license to practice in the UK. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a team and independently. A compassionate and caring approach to animals is also required.

Benefits
This full-time role (40 hours) comes with a competitive salary of £65,000 and a weekend rota 1 in 3. We offer annual leave plus Bank Holidays, CPD allowance, and paid fees for membership with the VDS, RCVS, and BVA. You will also have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
