Job Title: Mobile Electrical Technician

Resourcing Group is actively recruiting for a skilled Mobile Electrical Technician to join their commercial property services business in Bristol, Bath, and Somerset areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out call outs, reactive & planned maintenance, project works, and quoting for further works on various sites. This role requires excellent communication skills, Health & Safety awareness, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

About the Role:

  • Perform electrical work, including PPM, reactive call outs, and project works as required.
  • Ensure Health & Safety protocols are followed at all times, attending toolbox talks/training as needed.
  • Submit accurate weekly time sheets and job reports/paperwork to client's standards, collaborating with help desk/project manager.
  • Manage workload, ordering materials and coordinating sub-contractors when necessary.
  • Conduct job assessments and provide reports for further works or quotes.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Electrician with City & Guilds Installation Part 1 and 2 (or equivalent) and Electrical inspection & testing certificate (essential).
  • Desirable trade qualifications (PASMA, IPAF, First Aid, Asbestos etc.).
  • Able to utilize basic IT skills for updating jobs and completing test certificates on IPAD.
  • No unspent convictions; must pass DBS check and be cleared to work with vulnerable individuals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with adaptability to client needs.
  • Proficient in various hand and power tools.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules and cover call outs when required.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle workload effectively.
  • Consistent and thorough in completing paperwork.

Benefits Package:

  • JIB rates apply, with an annual salary of £40,950 (2024).
  • Standard working hours: 8am - 5pm.
  • Overtime: Time and a half for Monday-Saturday, double time for Sunday and bank holidays, with an additional day off for bank holidays worked.
  • A £125 starting allowance is provided for the first wages, covering expenses such as parking, deducted at the end of employment.
  • Van and fuel provisions for business and personal use, in accordance with contract terms and signed declaration.
