Teaching Assistant Role in Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Primary School in the Barnet area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher and students in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, fostering their academic and personal growth.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to the classroom teacher.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of Key Stage 1.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK-based educational setting.
  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for education and supporting the learning journey of students.
