Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

Our client, a leading provider of firefighting technology, is seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Factory Manager in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, driving continuous improvements, resolving issues, and reducing cost of poor quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare KPIs for submission to Factory Manager
- Facilitate customer complaint investigations
- Work with supply chain on all processes
- Undertake First Article Inspection Reports
- Support new product development
- Conduct calibration of all measurement equipment
- Assist in reviewing and updating procedures to support QMS
- Facilitate audits from external bodies and 3rd party inspectors
- Conduct internal process audits
- Produce internal reports and relay to Factory Manager
Requirements:
- Quality / Engineering knowledge
- Excellent IT skills
- Internal audit experience
- Knowledge of problem solving withing engineering, continuous improvement processes (Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA)
- Knowledge of the manufacturing process and the ability to establish solutions
- Excellent communication both verbally and written
- An understanding of ISO9001 AND QMS
- Close attention to detail
- The ability to understanding technical documents
