We are seeking a dedicated veterinary surgeon to join our first opinion small animal practice in the picturesque Somerset countryside.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary up to £63,000 (dependent on experience) and a 4-day working week. This role also includes a CPD allowance, no night duties, and the opportunity to work with friendly and supportive staff.

Our four-branch practice is located in rural Somerset, offering easy access to beautiful scenery and the Jurassic coastline. With transport links via motorway and rail, this location provides an ideal balance of work and leisure activities.

As a veterinary surgeon at our practice, you will have access to advanced equipment including video endoscopy, tonometry, digital dental X-rays, and ultrasound scanners. We also offer advanced orthopaedic surgery through a visiting specialist and have certificate holders in ophthalmology and surgery within our team.

Key responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care, performing surgeries, and working closely with our experienced vets.
