Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a world-class food manufacturing business in Chester. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on machines and equipment as part of our preventative maintenance program.
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork and maintenance logs are completed accurately and in accordance with company procedure.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical work on conveyors, bearings, shafts, chains, sprockets, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motors.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and utilize electrical test equipment such as multi-meters for fault finding on panels.
Requirements:
  • Must be a qualified engineer (NVQ Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical minimum).
  • Must have previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
