We are currently collaborating with a local authority based in the East of England who require a Part-Time Financial Operations Specialist (Liquid Logic & ContrOCC) to provide expert financial assistance to the council on an interim basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business teams to identify finance gaps and technical issues, understand which financial transactions are not being processed through Liquidlogic/ContrOCC, and develop a plan to improve financial processes between Liquidlogic and ContrOCC.
  • Recommend changes to the system, support testing and approval process, and define acceptance criteria for live implementation.
  • Identify reports that can help forecast spend and monitor budget impact, recommend training solutions, and ensure timely issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • Financial expertise and understanding of scheme of financial management
  • Liquidlogic and ContrOCC knowledge, including placements and costed activities
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • IT literacy and ability to utilise MS 365 products

The estimated salary for this role is £17,500 per month (£550 per day), based on a 3-month contract. Hybrid working arrangement applies, with the opportunity to work remotely from the East of England region.
