Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in shaping our exciting projects and contributing to the success of our clients.

As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team to undertake technical design work, managing time and budgets to key project milestones, and working closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions. You will also be responsible for adhering to quality assurance standards in design and ensuring that all work is completed to a high-quality level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

Requirements

  • Chartered Mechanical Engineer.
  • Thorough knowledge in mechanical equipment, such as pumps, blowers, screens, and chemical dosing plant as well as an in-depth understanding of current UK design standards and working practices.
