Project Management Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Officer to join our Infrastructure business, supporting our clients deliver a range of water projects and programmes across our Central South region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager with a civil engineering background, ideally with previous water sector experience, to take on a leading role in our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, and providing support on major Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for an aspect of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Project Management Commissions, ensuring client objectives are met and projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
  • Provide support on major Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for an aspect of service delivery.
  • Ensure the project team is led effectively and general line management responsibilities are effectively discharged.
  • Identify and act upon business development opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross-selling opportunities.
  • Monitor the internal financial status of all projects and effectively cascade key information and data.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the water sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong business development skills.
