Specialist Learning Support Assistant for Children with Autism

King Ecgbert School is seeking a highly skilled and talented specialist learning support assistant to join our integrated resource team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, personalised interventions both in and out of the classroom setting, maximising the progress of pupils within the integrated resource.
Key Responsibilities- Work with students with autism and related conditions to provide individualised support and interventions.
- Use knowledge and understanding of autism curriculum to support pupils through individual, small group and larger group interventions.
- Establish productive working relationships with students, parents, carers and families, and act as a role model and setting high expectations.
- Work successfully with colleagues from all subject areas to provide a comprehensive support service.
- Be well-organised and flexible, with the ability to use own initiative and work independently.
