Commissioning Engineer Opportunity

Coalesce Management Consulting (CMC) is seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of electrical commissioning tests on various SSE projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement handover and acceptance process requirements, including review and acceptance of handover documentation and walk-down and verification of system completion.
  • Execute electrical commissioning tests in accordance with approved procedures and plant/system acceptance criteria.
  • Record electrical test results and supporting data in line with commissioning procedures and arrangements.
  • Escalate issues and raise Open Points as applicable, and implement and remove temporary modifications.
  • Check and maintain configuration data for electrical systems and components.
  • Surveillance of test activities performed by others, including on-site and off-site testing, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
  • Enter applicable key data into commissioning IT tools as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in electrical commissioning and a strong understanding of commissioning procedures and arrangements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and components, including configuration data.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
