About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Crisis Resolution Specialist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHSFT.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing compassionate and confidential support to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis via telephone triage. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide initial assessment and triage, information, support, signposting, and assist individuals to cope with their mental health issues.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct mental state assessments and risk assessments
  • Develop safety plans and provide brief therapy interventions
  • Validate and de-escalate crises
  • Signpost service users to relevant services
