Job Description: As a Facilities Engineering Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical services team at our static site in Cardiff.

Location: Our site is located in Cardiff, UK, offering easy access to public transport links.

Terms: This is a permanent contract with standard working hours of 08:00am - 05:00pm, Monday to Friday, full-time.

Estimated Salary: £43,000 - £45,750 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.

You will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, ensuring efficient delivery of planned and reactive works, and providing engineering support in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the technical services team to ensure timely completion of PPM and reactive works.
  • Collaborate with regional managers to align technical services with overall business objectives.
  • Provide engineering support in emergency situations to maintain business continuity.
  • Liaise with engineers to ensure effective service delivery and improve overall service quality.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in facilities management, with a proven track record of team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with CAFM systems and understanding of building services and HTM legislation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
