Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe and orderly conduct of students in designated areas.
  • Assist with daily decisions on areas for student use.
  • Support the safe use of equipment.
  • Provide supervision and support to students in the dining area as needed.
  • Deal with minor incidents and first aid where appropriate.
  • Clean up spillages or debris around the dining/play areas to maintain good order, discipline, and safety.
Qualifications & Experience

We seek candidates with:

  • An understanding of the educational, social, and welfare needs of pupils in the midday break.
  • An appreciation of the importance of the meal and break as a social and educational occasion.
  • Experience supervising pupils (individuals or groups) in a relevant age setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to encourage and inspire young people.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Able to work effectively with people across a wide range of levels and responsibilities.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities, pension scheme, wellbeing cash plan, and performance and loyalty bonus.
