Automation Architect Lead

Role Overview

This exciting opportunity is for a skilled Senior Application Developer to lead the implementation of Tricentis Tosca Automation Architecture within the public sector. The ideal candidate will have expertise in executing design and deployment of Tosca Servers on-prem implementations onto client Azure infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for requesting servers, databases, and other necessary resources from the infrastructure/DBA teams, as well as overseeing all installation and configuration of the Tricentis Application onto the architecture and producing required documentation. This includes requirements (functional and non-functional), high/low-level design, delivery model, deployment plan, cyber assessment, test plan/report, SLAs, and service model.

The chosen applicant will work closely with Tricentis engineers and the client's Test team to develop an initial operating model describing the approach the client should take to build Tosca into its software delivery processes. Additionally, they will be responsible for developing a proof of concept set of tests against two selected client applications, taking existing manual tests and developing automated tests. Approximately 75 test cases are expected.

The role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to train and hand over the application to an in-house test automation team. The training will focus on the delivered operating model and specific information about client networks and lessons learned from the two applications used above.
