Support Women in Need

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our team at The Nelson Trust Women's Centre in Somerset. As a Criminal Justice Keyworker, you will play a vital role in supporting women involved in the criminal justice system, who are experiencing multiple vulnerabilities and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of women, providing needs assessment, support planning, and delivering rehabilitative interventions to enable them to break down barriers and achieve lasting change.
  • Utilize a trauma-informed approach to engage women and address their needs holistically, including one-to-one support, outreach, and group interventions.
  • Develop effective partnerships with specialist organizations in the local area to provide women with positive opportunities for change.

Requirements:

  • Good engagement skills working with women and a track record of developing effective partnerships with specialist organizations.
  • A commitment to making a difference in women's lives and a passion for supporting women in a holistic, gender-responsive, and trauma-informed way.
