The Role of Financial Accountant
We're seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you'll report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our UK Telecoms business.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present monthly management reporting packs and analysis dashboards to senior management.
- Manage monthly accrued income workings, subsequent reconciliations, and postings.
- Reconcile Cost of Sales (COS) between our accounts system and CRM system.
- Submit financial reports as per group instructions.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage month-end intercompany reconciliations.
- Oversee the junior finance team.
- Manage the bank reconciliation process.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Assist with the integration of our existing CRM system.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects to improve processes and efficiencies.
- Prepare and present management accounts information to the Head of Finance.
- Liaise with group finance on year-end audit and tax queries.
What We're Looking For
- A fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA) with a strong track record of success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure deadlines are met.
- A high level of attention to detail and a drive to succeed.
