Production Operator Job Description

CNC Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team in Yeovil. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality electrical and mechanical assemblies to work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce general electrical and mechanical assemblies to work instructions.
  • Follow internal production processes and work instructions.
  • Meet IPC guidelines for electrical standards of work, where required.
  • Able to solder, wire harness, optical termination, and crimp.
  • Proficient in a range of mechanical fastening operations to work instructions.
  • Carry out configuration testing using a laptop and software to prescribed process instructions.
  • Responsible for own husbandry of tools and organisation of workspace.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Mechanical knowledge and ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
