About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Head of Data Engineering to lead our data platform team and drive the strategic utilisation of data across the business.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a data operations strategy and roadmap for internal business intelligence, automation, and tracking of all internal metrics.
  • Design, implement, and maintain data architecture, including business intelligence, CRM integrations, data warehouses, lakes, and ETL processes.
  • Develop real-time analytics and ensure speed and accuracy of live feedback for enhancing user engagement and operational capabilities.
  • Establish and ensure data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of data professionals, fostering an open data culture within the business.
Requirements
  • Experience in data governance, data management, ETL processes, and data architecture.
  • Proficiency in data warehousing and pipeline development, data management tools, and platforms.
  • Strong understanding of CRM integrations, business intelligence, and development of observability tools.
  • Experience in project management tools, such as Jira, Trello, and Confluence.
  • Ability to lead teams using scrum and agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in EdTech or full-stack solutions for hardware and SaaS.
  • Experience in data compliance, such as COPPA and GDPR-K.
