This is a fantastic career opportunity for someone with Engineering Programme Management Experience within the engineering sector to join a highly collaborative and supportive team in our Capital Maintenance Projects and deliver modern and innovative solutions to our operational sites.

In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of a large portfolio of capital projects, providing MEICA and Civil engineering construction solutions for wastewater, water production, waste and water network functions, above and below ground.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of all capital projects to budget, ensuring turnover is managed in line with forecast.
  • Delivery of all construction projects on the program with 100% compliance with client specifications and corporate standards.
  • Led, motivated, and developed a multi-disciplined team of Project Managers and Project Delivery Engineers, reviewing performance whilst monitoring and maintaining resource mix to meet the predicted workload.
  • Ensuring effective flow and input of commercial information to meet the financial deadlines of the business.
  • Deliver all projects within legislative and regulatory requirements, including Health & Safety, Environmental compliance, and HR responsibilities.
  • Maintenance, delivery, and development of ISO 9000, 14000 and 18000 business systems.
  • Management of multiple stakeholders, developing sustainable, long-lasting relationships across all areas of the internal business and our supply chain.
Requirements:
  • Background within Utilities or Engineering sectors is essential.
  • Experience managing a project to delivery.
  • Sound experience in commercial awareness and budgets.
  • Hold a relevant Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH or similar).
  • Have proven experience in managing a large team in person and remotely.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have your transport.
  • Annual Leave - 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service (Plus, bank holidays).
