Land Surveyor Job in London/Heathrow

We are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team in London/Heathrow. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys, setting out for different trades in construction, and establishing survey controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct land surveys using modern survey methods and devices.
  • Set out for different trades in construction, ensuring accurate and consistent results.
  • Establish survey controls, set out gridlines, levelling, traversing, and other land surveying work.
  • Resolve any unexpected site issues and work with the team and management to resolve them.
  • Accurately record surveying information on site to the agreed specification and scope.
  • Process data from the field into the office, post-processing with software such as AutoCAD.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring we deliver to our client's expectations.
  • Assist with detailed field and office surveying assignments.
  • Check the quality of information collected on site and ensure successful transition to deliverables.
  • Maintain all survey kit and ensure it is well-kept.
  • Deliver to company policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Work with the Project Manager to assist with quoting for jobs.

Requirements:

  • Surveying experience.
  • Flexibility to travel to our sites nationwide.
  • Clean and full driving license.
  • University degree in survey-related field.
  • CSCS Card folder (required before starting work).
  • N4CE experience or software knowledge.
  • Laser Scanning Experience with point cloud registration and BIM workflows.
  • Monitoring Experience.
  • GIS and/or BIM Software Experience (ArcGIS Pro, Revit, Civil 3D, etc.).
  • Flexible and positive attitude.
  • Able to clearly convey site information to the office.
  • Planning and organisation.
  • Able to learn new software and processes.
