Job Title: Driver Trainer

Job Summary:

Fresh Direct is seeking a skilled Driver Trainer to join our team at our Wigan Depot. As a Driver Trainer, you will be responsible for training and assessing our drivers to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective training programs to drivers in the classroom and on-road
  • Assess driver skills and provide feedback for improvement
  • Collaborate with the transport department to ensure training needs are met
  • Work flexible hours to cover training needs across all shifts

Requirements:

  • Recent HGV driving experience (preferably multi-drop experience)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy and ability to use training software
  • Flexibility to work across all shifts
