About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our Customer Service team as a Customer Service Team Member. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our passengers, ensuring their journey with Eurostar is seamless and memorable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a welcoming presence throughout St Pancras station, ensuring a positive first impression of Eurostar.
  • Manage the international concourse, automatic and manual check-in, boarding gates, and information desks efficiently, ensuring customers feel well looked after.
  • Assist with passengers' ticketing enquiries and errors, resolving complaints at source whenever possible.
  • Support passengers during delays and disruption, arranging taxis, hotels, and refreshments as needed.
  • Ensure the safety of customers and staff by taking steps to alleviate congestion, improve customer flow, and direct passengers in emergency situations.
Requirements
  • Excellent face-to-face customer experience, demonstrating enthusiasm and positivity when serving passengers.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, ensuring customers are well looked after at each point in our station.
  • Capacity to work and remain calm under pressure, handling large volumes of customers at busy times.
  • Good computer literacy and ability to learn how to use our internal reservation and control systems.
  • High level of professional grooming, with a uniform provided to represent the Eurostar brand.
  • Advanced (C1) level of conversational English, with knowledge of French and Dutch desirable.

Our Recruitment Process

We will be conducting a video interview and assessment centre as part of our recruitment process. Full training will be provided for the role, lasting 4 weeks, with a start date of W/C Monday 9th December 2024.
