About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Blockchain Security Consultant to join our DevSecOps team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our blockchain infrastructure.

Your primary focus will be on advising our Infra Engineering and IT teams on security topics and supporting their work from a security standpoint. You will maintain a risk-based approach, focusing on automation of security controls, security hardening of developer and IaC processes, supply chain security, and related metrics and monitoring/audits.

You will also be responsible for organizing and performing penetration testing of our infrastructure, collaborating with external parties on those tests, and picking tools, methods, and approaches to maintain and improve the security stance of the company.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in Linux-based tech stacks, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and cloud platforms, including Google Cloud. Experience with blockchain tech and associated tooling is a plus.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and security experts, contributing to the development of our blockchain infrastructure and helping to secure an innovative organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising Infra Engineering and IT teams on security topics and supporting their work from a security standpoint
  • Organizing and performing penetration testing of our infrastructure
  • Picking tools, methods, and approaches to maintain and improve the security stance of the company
  • Mentoring other team members on all matters related to security and IT and infrastructure engineering
  • Partnering with multiple teams to tackle issues, including clarifying requirements, communicating, and convincing them
