Welder Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced TIG Welder to join our team at Orion Electrotech in Oxford. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metalwork, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical drawings, setting up welding equipment, and ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities of the TIG Welder

• Predominantly TIG welding – gaining and maintaining the required welding codes

• Understanding information prescribed within Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS)

• Carrying out all tasks to safety, quality and efficiency standards

• Non-welding activities e.g. forming, grinding, operating overhead cranes
