Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and cash flow projections to identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities.
- Oversee the procurement process, including subcontractor selection, negotiation, and contract award, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis and provide accurate and timely cost reports to project stakeholders, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with the project team to mitigate commercial risks, resolve disputes, and ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Manage and mentor junior members of the quantity surveying team, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional development.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, representing the company professionally and promoting a collaborative working environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the drylining industry, ideally with experience on luxury residential developments and iconic landmark projects.
- Strong commercial acumen and a detailed understanding of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management principles.
- Proficiency in industry-standard quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
