About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Assistant in Newry, providing essential support to individuals who require assistance with daily tasks and personal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake personal care and daily living tasks as agreed with service users and professionals involved in their care plan.
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with service users and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding changes in service users' conditions or circumstances.
  • Complete documentation, including service user records and timesheets.
  • Maintain and improve own knowledge and skills through experience and training.

Requirements:

  • No formal experience required; full accredited training will be provided.
  • An empathetic nature is essential for this role.
  • A driver with access to a car is necessary.
