Lecturer - Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer in Engineering to join our team at The Bedford College Group. As a Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and training to our students, helping them to achieve their academic and professional goals.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and workshops to students on a range of engineering-related courses and levels.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and materials to engage students and promote learning.
- Assess and provide feedback to students on their progress and performance.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and course materials, ensuring they are up-to-date and relevant to industry needs.
- Participate in marketing and promotion activities to support our engineering programs and services.
- Teaching qualification equivalent to Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (or willingness to work towards).
- Level 2 qualification in Maths and English.
- Assessor Award (or willingness to work towards).
- Up-to-date industry standard vocational skills and commitment to continue to maintain them.
- Experience working in the relevant industry.
- Skills to teach across a range of related vocational areas, and across learner levels.
- Good personal and interpersonal and communication skills.
- To champion Quality Assurance procedures and have the confidence to work within a target-driven environment.
- Ability to teach using a range of approaches in teaching and learning.
- Relevant and up-to-date knowledge of the latest technology in the relevant vocational area.
