Sports Journalism Tutor Wanted

We are recruiting an Hourly Paid Lecturer in Journalism to teach and assess students on the Sports Journalism module, "Sport Reporting", at the University of Central Lancashire. This is a fixed-term opportunity to cover long-term absence.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering practical Journalism skills to Year One Sports Journalism students, including assessing student performance and providing feedback. Additionally, they will maintain industry connections and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience.

Our Requirements
  • Recent or current experience working in a Journalism environment
  • Degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Journalism, Communications)
  • Flexible approach to learning and teaching
  • Passion for the subject and commitment to student-focused delivery

Estimated Salary: £38,225 - £42,609 per annum (dependent on experience)
