Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled VRA & VRO developer to join our team at Infoplus Technologies UK Limited. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining vRO workflows and vRA blueprints to automate tasks and processes within our virtualized environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop vRO workflows for automation of tasks and processes
  • Create and customize vRA blueprints and templates for virtual machine provisioning and application deployment
  • Integrate vRO and vRA with external systems, APIs, and third-party tools
  • Utilize JavaScript for vRO scripting and PowerShell or other scripting languages for vRA customization and automation
  • Manage and optimize the allocation of virtualized resources
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues related to workflows, blueprints, and automation scripts
  • Configure and customize policies within vRA for compliance, security, and governance
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for workflows, configurations, and automation processes
  • Collaborate with other teams to implement and optimize automation solutions
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and end-users
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation processes
Desirable Skills
  • Proven experience writing code in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with Python programming language and PowerShell scripting
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and configurations within virtualized environments
  • Good understanding and utilization of cloud APIs for integration and automation
  • Familiarity with JSON, YAML, and CSS languages
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and cloud services
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams
  • Knowledge of modern browsers and technical agility for adapting to new technologies
  • Familiarity with cloud services and platforms, especially those that integrate with VMware solutions

  • Consult as required in other areas to assist and provide a different perspective to programmers or projects that require it
