Job Description

Job Title: Field Service Engineer - X-Ray Systems

Job Summary:

Rapiscan Systems is a leading provider of detection technology, offering cargo and vehicle inspection systems and services for various industries. We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team and support the installation, maintenance, and repair of our X-ray systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, commissioning, and service support of Rapiscan X-ray systems at customer premises
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on-site at customer premises
  • Conduct site surveys prior to installations and provide professional site reports
  • Provide remote technical support to distributors' engineers and customers
  • Work with internal departments and external customers to resolve service-related matters
  • Submit service reports and non-conformance reports as required

Requirements:

  • Electrical Diploma with at least 4-5 years of field experience or a BSc Eng with 2-3 years of field experience
  • Postgraduate qualification in Electrical engineering desirable
  • Recognized qualification in an IT field (Microsoft, Cisco, etc.) a plus
  • Good general knowledge of mechanical, electrical, civil, hydraulic, electronics, or complex electro-mechanical equipment or systems
  • Ability to obtain airport security passes essential
