Job Title: Game Maintenance Specialist

Puttshack is seeking a skilled Game Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a Game Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our gaming hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regularly inspect and service gaming hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent system downtimes.
  • Repair and troubleshoot issues with gaming systems, including lighting, audio, computer, and other electronic components within our custom mini-golf courses.
  • Participate in regular maintenance calls with global team to understand priorities and scheduling of maintenance.
  • Provide guidance and troubleshooting in collaboration with the venue associates as well as the global maintenance team.
  • Ensure all gaming systems are updated and running the latest software versions.
  • Support with FTP and SQL Server systems.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience working within a software or technical environment, in a similar position.
  • Strong grasp of industrial automation and IT skills, including familiarity with Windows, servers, Linux, virtualization, and networking.
  • Experience with The Internet of Things (IoT) and ability to simplify complex technical issues for non-technical staff.
  • Proficiency in soldering and troubleshooting intermediate-level electrical systems, particularly when repairing or replacing LED lighting strips.
  • Experience using a multimeter device for diagnostics and repairs is required.
  • Proficiency in using basic hand tools, including drills, screwdrivers, pliers, and wire strippers, as well as other tools commonly required by electricians for installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
  • Self-motivated, forward-thinking, and able to work effectively in confined spaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with FTP and SQL Server systems.
