Marks Sattin Executive Search is partnering with a dynamic, PE-backed construction services business to find an ambitious Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This individual will play a crucial role in preparing the business for a successful sale, while also shaping the strategic direction to ensure sustainable growth and value creation beyond the exit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume full responsibility for the finance function, implementing systems, processes, and controls necessary to propel the business into its next phase of growth.
- Work alongside the CEO to develop, execute, and evaluate the business's overarching strategy.
- Deliver incisive performance analysis, rigorous forecasting, and insightful reporting to support executive-level decision-making.
- Establish comprehensive systems, controls, KPIs, and dashboards, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of board packs to support the business's strategic ambitions.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA), preferably Chartered.
- Experience as a Financial Controller, Head of Finance, or Finance Director, seeking to step into a CFO role within a growing PE-backed business.
- Proven expertise in managing daily finance operations within a scaling business.
- Demonstrated success in leading transactions through to a potential sale.
- Track record of implementing robust financial systems, processes, and controls.
- Strong communication skills paired with exceptional commercial acumen.
