We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to join our team at SNAP Care. This is a unique opportunity to work with a young adult with complex care needs and make a real difference in their life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 2:1 support to Winnie, a 17-year-old with Cerebral Palsy, scoliosis, and Dystonia, requiring suctioning, nebulisers, and gastrostomy care.
  • Assist with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, mobility, and medication management.
  • Work collaboratively with Winnie's family, therapy team, and healthcare professionals to ensure her needs are met and she is thriving.
  • Participate in training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in complex care and medical needs.
Requirements
  • Experience supporting children or young adults with complex care and medical needs.
  • Confident in manual handling and suctioning.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a WAV vehicle.
