Job Summary

Carrington West is seeking a highly skilled Geo Engineer to join our team. As a Geo Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our housebuilder-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct desk studies to identify potential environmental risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Lead site investigations to gather data on soil and groundwater conditions.
  • Interpret chemical and geotechnical data to inform project decisions.
  • Supervise site works to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Develop conceptual site models and contamination risk assessments to inform project planning.
  • Oversee site remediation efforts to restore contaminated sites to a safe and stable condition.
  • Prepare technical and interpretative reports to communicate project findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and other consultants.
  • Strong IT skills to manage and analyze data.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve project goals.
  • Relevant degree in geology, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Geo-Environmental Consultancy.
  • Drive and ambition to learn and grow with the company.
  • A full UK driving licence is required.
