Job OverviewWe are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual with a minimum of 2/3 years' experience in high-street fashion. The successful candidate will research and contribute to the creation of seasonal collections collaboratively with Brand Manager/Buyer. They will also work closely with the Senior Design team to create design strategies for each brand/season.
- Research customer profiles, new trends, and high-street competitors to identify commercial opportunities.
- Collaborate with Buyers and Product Developers to participate in fit sessions and ensure designs meet safety standards.
- Develop relationships with factories in Turkey, China, and Pakistan to support branded development and production trips.
- Travel to UK stores and overseas for inspiration and to maintain relationships with suppliers.
The ideal candidate should possess advanced technical CAD design skills, excellent communication abilities, and a strong understanding of Children's safety standard guidelines. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver clear concise technical specifications within specified timeframes.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with additional benefits, including opportunities for career progression and professional development.
