Tax Compliance Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to join our Tax team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team and providing high-level VAT advice to stakeholders across the business to mitigate any tax risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation of indirect tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant UK and European law and regulation.
- Assist clients with VAT audits and compliance checks, and provide training to the Accounts teams to ensure a strong control environment persists.
- Work with tax authorities and partners across Europe in relation to all VAT matters, and manage the relationship with tax authorities.
- Develop and implement tax policies, standards, and templates to ensure consistency of good practice and compliance with relevant UK and European law and regulation.
Requirements:
- Experience working in VAT/Accountancy/Finance department.
- Relevant and recognised ATT / CTA / Tax Law or Law Degree.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to identify, network with, and manage key stakeholders, building and maintaining effective working relationships.
