About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Lawyer to join our Safeguarding team at Sellick Partnership, working in Adult Social Care matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and experienced solicitor, barrister, or chartered legal executive to enhance our busy but friendly in-house Safeguarding team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling a caseload of complex adult social care matters, including Court of Protection, Deprivation of Liberty, Mental Capacity Act, and Care Act cases.
  • Providing advice on a wide range of adult social care matters, including court proceedings and professional body interactions.
  • Communicating effectively with officers, courts, barristers, professional bodies, and members of the public.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in dealing with adult social care matters, including complex cases and advice.
  • Excellent technical skills and a good level of experience in dealing with adult social care matters.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to deliver complex advice clearly and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
