About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our team at BRE Group. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for collaborating with Product Managers and other stakeholders to identify and understand requirements, translating strategic vision into tactical objectives, and working with the Product Development team to ensure these are met through the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop product roadmaps and other sources of requirements into release plans for the Product Development Team to work on.
  2. Impart empathy and understanding to members of the Product Development Team, to improve functionality and ensure usability of the solution.
  3. Conduct Sprint Planning to ensure the right content goes into each Sprint, to progress release work without neglecting urgent fixes.
  4. Take part in daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives to ensure progress and successful delivery of incremental value.
  5. Work with the Product Development Team to test developed software, provide feedback on errors, and investigate root cause to drive improvements to quality.
  6. Produce software applications on-time, to specification, meeting the required quality levels.
Requirements

Essential:

  1. Experience and understanding of Agile processes.
  2. Experience of working closely with Scrum Teams.
  3. Good written and verbal communication skills to discuss tasks with both technical and commercial individuals, internally and externally.

Desirable:

  1. Knowledge of Azure DevOps an advantage.

This position will be a hybrid role, including remote (home) and in office work (based at our BRE Science Park in Watford).
