Senior Psychiatrist

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious psychiatrist to support a newly established NHS trust in maintaining safe and effective services. Post-holders will provide consultant leadership and oversight, including inpatient care, recovery services, and adult community mental health services. The successful candidate will be expected to work with senior clinical team members to set up and maintain systems to identify and manage risks in their area of responsibility.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, with a focus on adult community mental health. They will be expected to have a full registration with the General Medical Council, MRCPsych, or a recognised equivalent, and be eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 12 months of CCT at the time of interview. CCT in learning disability psychiatry is also desirable.
